Data Sheet 2 - Power Screw Products Kingston Engineering has manufactured cut thread Power Transmission Screws and Nuts to British, European or American Standards for over 60 years. Nominal capacity for Screws is 10 to 200 Ø x 6 metres length in one piece, but longer with seamless jointing. Nuts up to 1000 Ø and 2000 kg weight. Full additional machining services available. Data Sheet 2 includes Acme and Trapezoidal Screw Selection Tables to aid choice of Screw diameter and pitch. Other products include Self-reversing Screw and Follower assemblies for level winding of cable onto drums. Product Feed Screws - variable pitch if required. Finned cooling tubes. Telescopic screw assemblies. Multi-start valve actuator assemblies. Pen stock assemblies. Data Sheet 3 - Standard Screw Stock Kingston has supplied an ?ex stock? and ?short order? range of Acme and Trapezoidal Screws and Nuts for over 25 years. The ?ex stock? range of Screws is up to 60 Ø while the ?short order? range is up to Power Screw nominal capacities as shown above. All with compatible Nuts. Data Sheet 4 - Component Reclamation Don't throw away expensive components - Reclaim and enhance them! Kingston Engineering offers a full component reclamation/enhancement service by wire, powder and spray-fused processes covering most common ferrous, non-ferrous, alloy, ceramic and carbide materials. Breakdown service available. Typical applications: - Recovering expensive components with localised wear or where service replacements are on extended delivery. Data Sheet 5 - Factory Maintenance Kingston Engineering undertakes Removal, Relocation, Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and repair of plant and machinery in a variety of Industries for individual breakdowns as well as complete production line overhauls. Data Sheet 6 - Corrosion Prevention Kingston Engineering has provided anti-corrosive/erosive coatings services for more than 30 years Surface Preparation Nominal booth capacity of up to 12m x 5m x 4m and 5000 kg weight. For delicate components, we have variable blast pressure equipment and hold stocks of less aggressive cleaning media. Surface Coatings and Treatments available: - Metal Spraying zinc and aluminium for marine and industrial applications. Paint Spraying systems, including zinc silicates, high-build 2-pack epoxy, chlorinated rubber, inorganic zinc, high-build vinyl etc. Ceramic Metal Coatings to re-build eroded material and to provide erosion/corrosion protection and increased operational life. Pickling for steelwork in Hydrochloric Acid tanks of 600 x 600 x 6000 and finished by oil spraying. Inspection, Protection and Transport throughout the UK. Data Sheet 7 - Roll Grinding and Fluting Rolls made to your samples or drawings in chrome iron, stainless steel, forged steel and grey cast iron Nominal capacities: - Smooth Rolls - 500 Ø x 2500 long (frosted, matt or high-polish finish) - Profiled Rolls - 250 Ø x 1500 long (profile checking and calibration service) Taper grinding facilities available for roll ends. Worn keyways, bearings and seal areas reclaimed. New ends manufactured and fitted as required. Site stripping and fitting service. Data Sheet 8 - Electro-Dynamic Balancing For components and fabrications such as Pump, Classifier and Flairmore Rotors, Fan Assemblies, Driving Drums and Centrifugal Pump Impellers. Nominal capacity up to 2100 Ø x 3000 long x 3000kg. In house manufacture of all balancing components. Certification available. Data Sheet 9 - Pump Reconditioning Kingston are specialists in the full removal, refurbishment and installation of positive displacement screw pumps up to 2000 kg for the Petrochemical industry and land or sea- going applications.
