Kingston Engineering offers a full component reclamation/enhancement service for components from equipment used across a wide range of industries. Typical applications where reclamation/enhancement should be considered are: - - Expensive components that are mainly serviceable but with localised wear. - Components required for quick replace, but are only available on extended delivery. - Components where worn areas may be reclaimed and also enhanced with harder, more durable materials for longer service life and reduced downtime. Metal Spraying of components up to:- Including face, internal & external dimensions - Turned finish 850 mm dia. x 3500 mm long ( 33"dia. x 138" long ) and 1500 mm dia. x 406 mm long ( 59"dia. x 16"long ) - Ground finish 500 mm dia. x 2438 mm long ( 20”dia. x 96”long ) Our reclamation and refurbishing service includes boring, sleeving, part new manufacture followed by full assembly for larger equipment such as pumps, blowers, airlocks, mixers, conveyers etc. Hard metal deposit on pump seal journals, for example, reduces downtime and greatly extends the productive life of the pump. Types of material/metal deposited - by wire, powder and spray-fused processes -Wire Process Stainless steel, hard chrome steel, carbon steel, copper, aluminium bronze, etc. -Powder process Self-bonding metal build-up coatings in stainless or carbon steels (machinable or ground), aluminium bronze. -Thermospray Coatings of hardfacing alloys, ceramics, carbides; all fully ground to a high standard Breakdown service - for full, integrated response to breakdowns, call-out our fitting force to strip-and-report, you can rely on our comprehensive machine shop facilities to repair, reclaim and finish machine, and for the same fitters to re-assemble and commission on site, all to your instructions.
