Kingston Engineering contributes to NATO
refuelling capability of Gripen fighter aircraft.
There can be no more demanding application for power screws than in a jet fighter, where Kingston Engineering products are specified.
One example, the Gripen, is a supersonic multi-role fighter in service with the Swedish Air Force since 1997, which will also equip the South African, Hungarian and Czech Air Forces.
Kingston Engineering Co (Hull) Ltd is providing exacting specialist screw threads, powering Gripen's retractable fuel probe as part of the fighter's air
to-air refuelling capability.
